Story of a free woman!

I am a woman, the mother of all creation,

My tale is ancient.

Then take a moment to listen…!

This is the story of a free woman!

My pain tells a story. I came into the world amidst sorrow.

There were no salutations.

No one shows happiness.

Instead, Father lowered himself into a seat.

 His head bent in contemplation,

‘Mother’ lacks both food and water.

I am a woman, the nurturer of the world.

My tale is ancient.

Then take a moment to listen…!

This is the story of a free woman!

As they turn to a teen,

I was under guard.

I found myself confined within the walls of the house,

I am a woman, the mother of all humanity.

My tale is ancient.

Then take a moment to listen…!

This is the story of a free woman!

I am a stone; I am the wealth of a stranger. I am not worthy.

My marriage is mine.

Yet I prefer not to discuss it.

Babylon set out to collect the bride price.

I am unsure of the true nature of that house.

Where must I spend my life?

I am a woman, the mother of humanity,

My tale is ancient.

If you are able to hear,

Then take a moment to listen…!
This is the story of a free woman!

But I desire to be a free woman.
Mentally free
I’m capable of making my own decisions.
Financially free
I maintain my freedom.
I have my rights.
I fulfill all my duties.
I walk with my dignity.

I am a woman, the mother of humanity,

My tale is ancient.

If you are able to hear,

Then take a moment to listen…!
This is the story of a free woman!
Freedom for me
This excludes the use of ostentatious attire.
Nor is it a show of body.
I desire appreciation.
My mentality, my skills
I do not take favours from anyone.
I don’t want to please anyone.
I want to move forward.

I am a woman, the mother of humanity,

My tale is ancient.

If you are able to hear,

Then take a moment to listen…!
This is the story of a free woman!

Yes, my men are friends.
I know I will not cross that limit.
When someone looks at me
With a seductive look
I feel bad; I feel pain.
I whistle whenever someone tries to hurt me.
I would rather not move forward by compromise.
I can give my life for status and respect.

I am a woman, the mother of humanity,

My tale is ancient.

If you are able to hear,

Then take a moment to listen…!
This is the story of a free woman!

I do not need progress.
I can’t defend myself.
I cannot serve as a slave to a man.
I love him.
I understand the difference.
There is a conflict between love and oppression.
My freedom is part of my existence.
I ignore it to a large extent.
But I am capable of answering.
A brick is paired with a stone.

I am a woman, the mother of humanity,

My tale is ancient.

If you are able to hear,

Then take a moment to listen…!
This is the story of a free woman!
